Damascus Steak Knife Set of 4 in Walnut Cradle

Set of 4 stainless damascus steak knives. These sets are made with our 5" steak knife profile of damascus stainless steel folded by Damasteel of Sweden in two of their most classic patterns, Vinland (random) or Dense Twist pattern.

The steak knives are offered in two variations:

- African Wenge Handle with nickel silver pins and twist pattern Damasteel.

- Figured Black Walnut with brass pins and random pattern Damasteel.

The African Wenge is sourced using FSC graded wood to insure it was harvested according to international import laws. This wood is a common species used in knife handles and instruments. It is very durable and quite beautiful.

The Black Walnut is locally sourced, cut some 50 years ago by Zack's Grandfather comes from Peter Jefferson Place, a farm originally owned by Thomas Jefferson and his father Peter in Charlottesville and named Pantops.

The cradle is handcrafted of our regionally sourced Walnut here in Virginia. Color and graining of the walnut wood for each cradle will vary greatly due to its natural nature. The knife handles and cradles are oiled with non-toxic, 0% VOC lemon based block oil.
