The Shotoh/ Paring Knife
Handmade 3.25"/85mm Shotoh/ Paring Knife made of carbon damascus in Twist pattern folded by our staff here at Monolith. The tapered octagonal handle is made of tropical Cocabola and Pink Ivory wood

The blade is forged in our shop from 256 layers of 1084 and 15n20. We manipulate the layers into a twist pattern for character and beauty. Carbon blades require a bit more care as they can rust but offer an amazing cutting edge and are easy to service the edge with a stone.
