Handmade 7.5" western chef's knife of stainless damascus folded by Damasteel (Sweden)  in the Vinland pattern.  The faceted handle is of Ash collected from Richlands Farm in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Virginia. The handle features a spacer of Walnut, also collected at Richlands Farm.This wood was dried and stabilized by Monolith. The bolster and pins are of stainless steel. The overall length is 12.5".  The blade has been custom etched to read "1960" on the side opposite the makers mark. 8.1 oz. HRC 61.
